Float Bug, or Fucking Bugs, depending on your mood is my brand-new-still-completely-shinny bug tracking application. So shinny, that very, very little code has been written, as of yet.
My question, quite simply, is what do people need from a web based bug tracking application.
The provisional feature list is as follows:
- Damned easy to use UI
- Multiple versions of a single product (but not multiple products)
- (Linear) Comments on the bug
- File uploads, allowing patch files, as well as other file types, to be attached to a bug
- Assigning bugs to members
- Bug status
- Categorisation of bugs
- Bug priority
- Atom feeds to watch a certain bug, or to watch those bugs flow in! :)
My question is quite simple: What other features do people want, if at all?

Well, time to add one I forgot:
Clean URLs, having things like /bug/201.

some ideas:
-Bug History (I.E: reported, assigned, fixed, patched, closed etc)
-Bug Statistics (average assignation/resolution times etc tied to the above)
-Auto Report API (SOAP or similar)
-Auto Patch API (not shure about this one)
-occurences (if someone notices the bug already posted they can ++ the occurence so you can get an idea how many people are affected)

2. Maybe not completley practical, but Im sure some would like it.
3. Definatley I think this would be a good idea.
4. I agree, not really needed.
5. I think its better to have the incremental thing rather than a referenced duplication.
